When I first attended, I ran into sooo many issues because of the Ready To Work Program and I was ready to just give up attending. However, the staff at IOAH seriously went above and beyond to assist me, especially Ms. LJ Martinez, Ms. Veronica Garcia and Mr. Nester Lopez. I had a great experience attending the CNA program because of them and I was able to pass my exams and find a job extremely quickly afterwards. Thank you guys so much!!!
I graduated and passed my LVN thanks to the wonderful admin and caring faculty. I recommend the LVN program here to everyone I meet!
LJ was amazing and helped me get in last minute!! She was very kind and kept in touch with me throughout the entire process of admission.
Took a CNA course here, mrs LJ Martinez helped me register for these classes super easy and convenient. She was Awesome as well as the instructor Mrs. Mary she was amazing learned a lot from her!
The Institute of Allied Healthcare is exceptional. The staff, especially LJ Martinez, are incredibly friendly and always go above and beyond to assist with any admission concerns. The teachers, like Ms. Valdez and Mr. Phandara, are inspiring and have transformed dry subjects into engaging curricula that significantly enhance understanding and aid in passing state exams. The flexibility at Allied Healthcare is commendable, and Ms. Garcia's motto of "no one should be left behind" shines through, making her a true advocate throughout the program. Highly recommended!
Thank you guys and keep up the great work.
I entered to the school feeling welcomed, smiles, positive atmosphere, encouraging, well informed. The staff are phenomenal, very engaging & helpful. Mrs. Santos is dynamic, she gave me a feeling of I'm on the right track & very encouraging. Unfortunately, I didn't pass exam , left me feeling sad, but I will keep on trying. I highly recommend attending school there.
Very nice!
Excellent school. Fully prepared for state exam.
Good school, very professional and accommodating to my needs nice instructor and staff they really worked with my schedule. It was 21 days and the cheapest I could find. It was definitely worth it tho. I definitely would and have recommended this school to my friend who will be going in the next couple months hopefully. The only thing is I wish I could've done my externship hours at a hospital.
Affordability, respect all around , caring staff, motivation, this school is simple and on a mission! Their fee is the lowest and most reasonable in town and is worth it! Do not be afraid to ask for help either! This is an A+ institution and if you need to juggle your personal life and complete school you can go it here with ease. However nothing comes easy! You put in the effort and they will work with you!
Ms mary was a good teacher, she is helpful and doing her best for the students. The staff at the school is doing an amazing job , they even offered help with resumes , . Thanks Victoria and ashia

Im currently a student here studying to a MA. If youre looking into becoming a Medical Assistant or CNA, you should definitely consider coming to this location! Its convienitly located in the Medical Center! The owners and staff are some of the nicest and most professional people I have ever met in my life! Everyday they greet you by name and genuinely make you feel amazing. They arent all about your money, the help you find a place to have your externship, as well as even find you a job after youre done with school. I love it here and my instructor, (Mr Tebbs) is AWESOME! He helps us learn in an amazing way and truly cares if youre getting the curriculum. Im so happy I chose this school!
I'm currently taking a CNA course at this facility and can say that it's well worth the money. The staff are fantastic and really want you to succeed. My instructor, Mary, goes above and beyond to make sure that you're fully prepared for your state boards and that you're ready to take on a job in the medical field. I've asked so many questions and she always takes her time to fully help. Can't recommend this facility enough!
Also just want to add that their pricing really cannot be beat - a very good bargain.

Aisha also helped all the students with job applications. I will definitely recommend this school. I enjoyed it.
An outstanding school and excellent staff. I was well prepared for and passed the nurse aide certification because of them. I highly recommend the Institute of Allied Healthcare!
I went to train for my CNA license as a precursor to nursing school back in 2017. This school is smaller than some of the other CNA schools available, but I was thoroughly impressed with the administration and staff at this school! Everyone from the top down was exceptional and had the same goal in mind to help you from start to finish and assist with finding work afterwards. I recently went back to renew my CPR certification, and was happy to see some of my old instructors. Brought back great memories. I love this school and would recommend it to anyone!!
Great school!!!
Very helpful staff and MS lea the instructor for CNA, shes the best instructor ever :) I highly recommend this school!
Will be starting class 12/30/2021 for medical assistant and i must say I am very excited! Staff is super helpful and supportive! Give this place a chance you will not regret it! First step into the medical field!
I recently completed the nurse aide training class. The Institute of Allied Healthcare was top-notch from their intake process through receiving my certificate of completion. Im happy I chose Allied Healthcare as the school to obtain nurse aide training. Their staff was always friendly and helpful. My instructor (Miss Mary) was amazing! I feel extremely lucky to have had her teaching my class. She gave us real world examples and ensured we were prepared for both the State written and skills exams. I passed both the written and skill exams on my first try. I'm now a Certified Nurse Aide! I owe so much to my experience at Allied Healthcare both in the classroom and at the clinical site. Allied Healthcare also offered great resume writing assistance as well as an awesome career day where multiple companies came to the school to present to the students. I enjoyed my experience with Allied Healthcare so much that I am now enrolled in their Medical Assistant training program!
I got my certification months ago & forgot to leave a review.. my teacher was an amazing teacher, her name was ms.Mary taught me everything I needed to know to pass my boards. If you are considering going through allied health care, do it!!!! Lower prices than others & a shorter amount of time
Hopefully, I am obliged by the institution's ethics to mention names here. This has been one of the best institutions I've ever attended (I have a bachelors and a few certs under my sleeve). From staff to every habitat therein has been incredibly assisting. I was a lot of work as I went in at a time the world came crumbling around me. Mr. Phandara, my instructor, was amazing, very patient, addressed my concerns, made sure everything he taught was well understood and prepared us for the CCMA--he even furnished me with some 'opinionated-advice.' And so was Ashia, spectacular services and kind-hearted personnel. Oh! and Mrs. Garcia, the Career Services personnel--very-well informed, accommodating and knows her job to every tendon. Good news!!!!!? She secured me a job at CentroMed as a Med. Assistant with a refreshing starting wage. Top it up, they provided me with LORs. I'd recommend the Institute of Allied Healthcare in a bobillion years!!!
Miss Leah is the best! Extremely encouraging and helpful all throughout the CNA class. Super personable and reliable. This school was great and I would highly recommended to anyone.
My classroom experience was over the top Ms. Valdez was overall absolutely amazing!!! Very informative and knowledgeable. She made it easy to get the skills I needed as a future MA!!
I am a current student in the medical assistant program. From the start this school has been very helpful from the admitting process to starting at my externship site. The staff is wonderful and very helpful, while the instructors are very knowledgeable and extremely patient when teaching skills that we will use in our future careers. I definitely recommend applying to this school.
I learned alot and the staff is very friendly and willing to help. The MA program was great!
Such a good school ! I finished my CNA course and passed both my exams on the first try. I felt confident and ready for my test. Ms Leah really helped by teaching us not only to pass the test but to actually provide quality care in all settings. Not to mention the great job opportunities given to you during and after your course. Will be returning for their LVN program!
I did my CNA classes here back in may and i loves it. I had ms.Leah as my teacher she was good teacher , taught me everything I needed to know to pass my exams !!
i really enjoyed coming to the school. i was in the CNA program and my teacher leah was so nice and understanding she was there if we needed help. the school in general wasnt expensive as the other school. it was a good experience all around. thanks again.

Great school . Didn't have a good Instructor she was low toned and we had loud students in the class that were always talking and on phone when Instructor was teaching and Instructor was not good at conducting their behavior but other than that we learned a lot and did hands on in lab . Nestor the owner was really great he really listens to his students and puts them first . Best of all I got hired at The Baptist Hospital as a PCA ! I'm very Thankfully for this school .
First off, this school has one of the most competitive tuition for the CNA program in town! And it's conveniently located by the medical center. They have two sessions that you can choose to go to, one in the morning and one in the evening. I went during the evening and it was a experience where I looked forward to going to. They had two rooms to practice skills, and they will assist you as long as it takes until you feel comfortable knowing the skills you must do for the state boards. This is a great school to go to and I high recommend it!
Cheapest one around. Great instructor and simply clinicals. Highly recommend.
I came here looking for a career change, I am glad that I made the jump. Being a certified nurses aide has been one of the best decisions I have made. I wanted to drop in and write a review because I am very thankful at how easy Institute of Allied Healthcare made it for me to be certified and now generating additional income. I was able to pay the course little by little and the staff was very helpful, even staying after the course to make sure I learned the material. I would definitely recommend the Institute if you want to become an aide and are still working full time, they are pretty flexible. anyways thank you IAH
This institution generally cares for their students even after completing the program. Not to mention it is priced as the lowest in San Antonio. Very much worth your money. The instructors are great, and patient with you. Any extra time you need they are more than willing to accommodate you. Their success rate is very high. Definitely recommend The Instiute of Allied Healthcare!

i highly recommend this school! They are very affordable, and they provide you with textbooks, workbooks, scrubs, stethoscopes, badge, and state board skills pamphlet. They are very professional and you receive a very well rounded thorough course of study to become a successful CNA! The staff is exceptional and very professional. This school wants their students to succeed and they help you every step of the way. The instructor Mary Aguirre is great teacher as good as it gets! She has years of experience and is very knowledgeable. She answers all your questions clearly. She has a positive attitude and is always cheerful and approachable! During clinical studies, she doesn't just throw you in, she makes extra sure you are comfortable. She will even work beside you and help you. This school also prepares you for your skills portion of your state exam. You practice and practice until you get it! Last but not least, even after you graduate they still allow you to come back and practice your skills in the room whenever you want. They never turn you away, the doors are always open. I attest to this because I just recently graduated from the program and have been back 3 times to practice before my state exam and they are always very welcoming and helpful ! So I encourage anyone who is interested in becoming a CNA to attend this school you will not be disappointed you will be glad you did. Great education that is affordable and when you attend you feel like your part of the family ! I give this school the highest rating. Former Student
I love the, people who work here and the people I attended class with. I know that my instructors actually cared about us succeeding and were always willing to help. I was never turned down, away or made to feel bad for asking to many questions and they absolutely answered my query with extra tools and tips. They do not do things for you but give you the ability to take the task at hand and succeed a good example was how the office helped my peer edit and evolve her resume.

The process was smooth from start to finish. All of the staff were AWESOME & VERY PROFESSIONAL! Valerie, the LVN Instructor, made learning very enjoyable taking the fear out of learning new material. Perfect place to get your CNA! GO FOR IT THERE! I was hired immediately! Thank you for such a pleasant experience!
Stay away if you don't believe me call Austin and ask how many pass the NA test....it might be low cost school but you get for what you pay for....beware if you don't understand english very well.....they will pass you and tell you it is ok that you will be ok with the state exam....false hope....
This school made a huge impact on me! It's rare to attend a school where everyone who works there truly cares about you and your future! I've made wonderful friends and learned so much I can take with me and I am forever grateful to this school and the impact it has had on me!!
I am very pleased with the education I received from The Institute of Allied Healthcare. My instructor was Leah, and she helped me every step of the way. I just passed my written and skills from Center for Excellence here in San Antonio. The lady was super nice and informative.
